I came across this on the CBC website today:  "National archives reviews purchases of paper materials in the digital age".   Daniel Caron is not a librarian or an archivist, but an economist....not that it matters.

I you have had problems with the Alberta Courts Website judgment database today, it is probably because everyone is looking for the decision in Morrow v. Zhang released at 10 a.m. today.

The Law Society Library will have a copy very shortly thanks to the efforts of ELLA member Linda Harmata.

Good grief.  Check out this recent post in Quill & Quire.  Guvnor Arnie wants to eliminate paper textbooks for Californian children to save costs.

Ever wonder how those "plugged in" people find out what is going on?  Connie Crosby has a great post on her blog that outlines her strategy for keeping up with what is happening in her communities of interest.  Do you have other methods for keeping up your personal continuing education or current awareness?
