GELA has organized a tour of the Edmonton Institution for Women for Thursday April 17 at 6 p.m. Any interested members of the library community are welcome to sign up for the tour. A list of participants must be submitted by April 4 and security clearance forms will be required to be filled out by all participants of the tour.

The GELA women’s prison sub-committee has been busy this year with a book drive project for the prison library. The tour will include a visit to the library.

The tour lasts about 1 ½ hours and can accommodate 10-12 people so sign up soon!
